Our campaign is almost over for our new book. I've got Dynamite Thor 100% done and ready to send out digitally to backers as soon as all the funds clear from Kickstarter so you'll have some great reading entertainment on your Corona quarantine for backers :)
This is a really fun superhero book and if you enjoy Flying Sparks I guarantee you'll appreciate the writing on Dynamite Thor.

Hey everyone!
Hope you've been enjoying Flying Sparks. I know you're waiting for Volume 4 but we're not far along enough in the colors yet to launch that book.
The good news is, I have an EXPLOSIVE superhero for you!
His name is Dynamite Thor, and he's immune to explosives -- which means he likes to use them to thwart bad guys (and to use as a nifty means of flight).
The character is a Golden Age hero from 1951 who I've reimagined and brought into modern times -- but our art team has also digitally restored and recolored all of the old stories so you can read those classic books!
We have cover art by the legendary Ron Frenz (Amazing Spider-Man, Thor), my favorite artist of all time.
Back today and get in on this awesome adventure. We've done a Dynamite Thor Meets Meta-Girl Short which you got as a stretch goal... and we have much bigger plans for crossing over later on.

Are You Enjoying Flying Sparks Volume 3?

Hey there, True Believers!
All the books are out and away (I had to personally ship a last batch for some folk who ordered books from my back catalogue since I made a mistake and my fulfillment group didn't have those!), and I'm getting great feedback saying this is by far the best volume yet. A lot of the storylines are really paying off--and it'll get even crazier with volume 4.... but that's later.
I wanted to let you know we also came out with a BRAND NEW comic this week, Clockwork Dancer #1.
If you follow me, you'll know comics is my passion, so every dollar I make from these campaigns I reinvest into new art to create wild stories for you to enjoy, which is what I've done here.
I also want to try to provide my loyal readers something inexpensive between crowdfunds, because I know the crowdfunding $ add up, which I very much appreciate since you're the ones who make this comic business happen. So we've released a full-color 22-page comic at a REALLY affordable $2.99 digital for you to enjoy -- about 60% of what new issues of Marvel/DC comics would cost!
This week, I released Clockwork Dancer, a comic book with amazing graphic artist, Mary MacArthur, a comic book where I bring my deep storytelling into 19th century Victorian England.
Alastair, a former agent of Queen Victoria's Secret Service, has created an automaton and programmed her with the ability to dance, a truly wondrous and innocent being.
But not all see her that way. The government and Anglican Church view her as an abomination to be hunted down. Alastair and the Dancer must go on the run for their lives--all while uncovering a secret plot by a mad scientist hellbent on world domination.
It's nonstop action and a lot of fun, a great and quick read for your weekend.
I'm also happy to report it's already become a #1 BESTSELLER on Amazon, my first comic to achieve the feat, which I'm super proud of.

Fulfillment

I got messages about how folk weren't receiving books so I looked into it (was hard to get ahold of anyone over the holidays).
I just learned my fulfillment company I used didn't ship the books until yesterday. I'm so sorry for the delay. They apologize as well. They've had the books for nearly a month, so there shouldn't be any excuse. They should be arriving in short order!
Printing's All Done - Off To Fulfillment!

This is the first campaign I both have set up all the printing formatting myself and also the first where I've gotten a fulfillment company to do the packing and shipping. It's a weird feeling both being in control and in less control than ever, but it's all out of my hands now. Books are on the way!
In other news: Dynamite Thor is now 75% done with colors. I have been advised not to launch a kickstarter in December... but I might ignore that advice because I want to keep coming out with books. It'll be a really fun superhero book with a lower price point for you all to enjoy.
Flying Sparks volume 4 is also complete for the line art. Now onto colors!
