First Stretch Goal Unlocked!

The Chapter covers are a go, which will, make this volume like the previous into 72-page books.
We hit this last night but I've been pretty busy as I play keyboards at my church on the weekends so haven't been able to come on for an update.
The next goal is $10K, where Jethro Morales will draw new back cover art for the book. If you have Volume 2, you know that the back cover art makes the book look really snazzy, so I definitely want to get there. Tell your friends to back! This superhero universe grows almost entirely because of your word of mouth as to how great this series is.
There's also a special unlisted $10K bonus, but there's a catch to it, which I'll explain.
Our unofficial stretch goal is that Mark Pellegrini and Timothy Lim will be doing a one-page parody strip titled, Flying Sharks. I have no idea what they'll come up with but these are two hilarious gents who are incredibly talented.
The caveat to this goal is that their book, Black Hops: Hare Trigger, has to reach $10K as well. I wholeheartedly endorse their book, and have backed it myself. You can check it out here.
The book is ridiculous fun. I love what those guys are doing.
I should also mention that my sci-fi novel, The Stars Entwined, is on sale for the next 24 hours. It's good for fans of Babylon 5 or Lois Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga, and it's only 99 cents.

Thanks guys! This is the craziest launch I've ever had by far, doubling what my other three campaigns have done on launch day.
This is an absolutely amazing comic community and I really appreciate you.
But there's still a lot to go. Frankly, I'd like to produce all of these stretch goals, and though I know we're unlikely to get to $100K, being able to do a video web series that ties into this comic was always part of the plan.
On youtube last night, I did a history of Flying Sparks and how this all started and also did an author commentary of the first issue from volume 1. A lot of cool history and good content so give that a watch if you want some of the background on this series:
And also give the channel a subscribe! We're getting pretty close to being able to monetize over there too.
I'm way ahead of myself thinking about video, as we have early stretch goals which will make this book a better one. First, is adding the interior chapter covers to the book. If you've followed along before you know we get some great pin up/cover work done and we'll continue doing that here.

A beautiful Terry Moore-esque scene there. Jethro's getting so much better at storytelling and mood as he's continuing across this series (and so am I). It's really fun to watch the progress.
